Overall: 4.6/5 [dine in] Phenomenal service from start to finish. They were able to seat us on the patio as a walk in on a Saturday night, checked in to offer us a spot by the fireplace when it opened up, kept our water filled throughout the night, and even asked how we wanted our food served. Little touches like that really make a difference. They also brought out complimentary ciabatta bread when we were first seated and then without us asking, brought a fresh batch after our appetizer. The second round was better, with a nice crispy edge that made that satisfying crunch when you squeezed it. Really good with the butter, though if the butter had been just a little saltier it would have been perfect. Beef Carpaccio ($32): Good but average. The individual components were all there but the dish felt like it was missing cohesion. The black sesame parmesan tuiles were a standout though. Georges Bank Seared Sea Scallop ($49): Three huge scallops cooked phenomenally. The mushroom risotto was a bit al dente and on the saltier side, and the mushroom flavor didn't come through as much as I would have liked. The squid ink beurre blanc was lovely though and really brought the dish together. Despite the risotto I would still order this again just for those scallops. Duck and Foie Gras ($46): The duck was cooked beautifully and the foie gras wasn't too heavy, just the right amount. I loved the strawberry arugula salad that came with it. The pairing worked really well overall. I personally didn't think butternut squash was the right puree choice but my husband disagreed and absolutely loved this dish. Foucher Sancerre Rosé ($15 glass): I am usually not a fan of rosé because of how dry they tend to be, but this one was not bad. It tasted much better when paired with food. August Riesling ($12 glass): A yummy, sweet drink that is refreshing and easy to drink. I had to pace myself or I would have finished it before the main courses even came out.

Wow! Everything about this place was amazing! Seriously! First, the service is impeccable! You will want for nothing- even when it's full. The food....oh...wow! Probably the best food in town! Portions are generous and the plating is beautiful! There were 5 of us and we all tried different items and shared them. No duds. Every item was delicious! I recommend going early and making a reservation as it fills up quickly. Great for date night and with your good friends. Highly recommend! Now permanently in our San Antonio top 10!

An unforgettable anniversary dinner. The 7-course tasting menu with wine pairing was outstanding, each course creative, balanced, and perfectly paired. The service was impeccable throughout the evening. Eber took exceptional care of us, guiding us through each course and making the entire experience feel thoughtful and seamless. A beautiful evening we will always remember.

Bliss absolutely lives up to its name. From the moment we walked in, the service and attention to detail were top-tier. The manager, Dorian, made sure everything was running perfectly and created a welcoming, high-end dining experience. Our server Landry was phenomenal—super attentive, professional, and always checking in to make sure everything was perfect without ever being intrusive. The food was outstanding. We started with the oysters and the grilled octopus, and both were incredible—fresh, perfectly prepared, and full of flavor. For the main course we ordered the steak (their steak dish on the menu), and it was absolutely top-notch—perfectly cooked, tender, and seasoned beautifully. To finish it off, dessert was just as impressive. Honestly, everything from start to finish was excellent. You can tell this place takes pride in both the quality of the food and the level of service. The team here knows exactly how to deliver a memorable dining experience. If you’re looking for one of the best restaurants in San Antonio, Bliss should be at the top of your list. We’ll definitely be coming back.

Lia was awesome and so kind, but everyone working was lovely and added to the ambiance. Food wise we loved everything, especially the grilled octopus and berry cake. The bliss spritz was also very refreshing. I thought the portions were very filling and worth to pay the add on to try the other items.

Amazing meal - what a hidden gem in SA! We had the arugula salad, beets, short rib and chocolate cake. No notes. The chocolate cake was a bit dry, but the ice cream made up for it. Delicious without being pretentious. Everything had a purpose. As my brother said - this is NY food - food that could make it in the toughest food towns in America. Incredible service, cool vibe - 10/10!

We made a reservation through OpenTable, and we were seated promptly upon arrival, no waiting at all for our group of six. The service was flawless from start to finish, but a huge shoutout to our waiter, Lico. He was extremely attentive, incredibly professional, and genuinely passionate about the menu. He guided us through the selections with perfect timing and made the whole evening feel seamless and special. Bliss truly lives up to its reputation for hospitality that makes you feel remembered and cared for. Now, the food oh my goodness, it was phenomenal! We started with the beef carpaccio, which was paper-thin, beautifully presented, and bursting with flavor (one of those dishes that sets the tone for an unforgettable meal). For our mains, we went all in on highlights: the off menu New Zealand ribeye (a total showstopper—tender, perfectly cooked, and a rare treat), the seared scallops (rich, buttery perfection), and the grilled swordfish (fresh, flaky, and elevated with thoughtful accompaniments). Every bite was a celebration of quality and creativity. We capped it off with desserts that were straight-up heavenly: the butter cake and flourless chocolate cake. Both were phenomenal...moist, decadent, and the kind of sweet endings that had us raving and debating who got the last bite. Bliss continues to be one of San Antonio’s best-kept (or not-so-secret) treasures for a reason: superb food, flawless service, and that genuine Southtown charm. Whether you’re a local or visiting, book a table as you won’t regret it. We’re already planning our next visit. Highly, highly recommended!

This was the 1st time I've been to Bliss. A special anniversary occasion with my partner. We were thoroughly impressed with everything. The owners, management, and service staff were really wonderful, accommodating and friendly. The dishes that were recommended were perfection and beautifully plated. All flavor combinations are definitely thought out well. We loved the ambiance of the restaurant as well. We highly recommend!

Bliss was an amazing experience from start to finish. The food was beautifully presented, fresh, and full of flavor. My favorite dishes were the salads and the dessert—both were absolutely outstanding. The salads were vibrant, fresh, and perfectly balanced, and the chocolate dessert was the perfect ending to the meal. We also enjoyed the tuna tartare, swordfish, and corn fritters, all of which were thoughtfully prepared and beautifully plated. The service was attentive, and the atmosphere was warm, intimate, and perfect for a special evening. We will definitely be back!
